About the company

Autoverhuurincuracao.nl has been active in the car rental business on the island of Curaçao for over thirteen years. The company is a local business with a single location on the island. One of its unique strengths is the approachable and personal communication with reservations are made directly through WhatsApp. Additionally, the company offers a convenient pick-up and drop-off service at the customer's accommodation.

However, the website has become a point of concern for the company. There are several areas in need of improvement, and to address this, we were given the assignment by Happy Horizon to create a new design for autoverhuurincuracao.nl.

Disclaimer

Since this project is a Fontys Hogeschool project, the design and development phase are two different designs.

Designs

This mobile-first design uses the colours of the Curaçao flag, yellow and blue. The colours are lighter for better readability.

Development

The concept website is designed with both mobile and desktop functionality in mind. In addition to browsing and renting cars, users can also learn more about the company and explore information about the island through blog posts.
